The opening of the 2014 World Cup, held in the Amazonia Arena in Manaus, Brazil is one of the most anticipated sports events of the year. Although this is an energetic and positive event, many news articles have been criticizing the field stadium because of its extremely poor turf. Manaus is located in the middle of a rainforest and the only way to reach the city is by plane or boat. The maintenance has been extremely tight because all of the supplies need to be transported by boat. The groundsman of the stadium, Carlos Botella is aware and is currently making an effort to make the area look as good as possible before the event held there this weekend. There are numerous noticeable white streak lines on the field, showing the poor quality of the artificial grass. If they reinstalled new artificial turf, there would be much less criticism and much more praise on how the field looks. Evidently, Carlos hasn't looked into our products here at Global Syn Turf! We offer an array of spectacular products ranging many different price levels. We are located in numerous states such as California, Texas, New York, Colorado, Florida, etc. and distribute to all states in the U.S. Our synthetic grass is natural looking and makes the 2014 World Cup field grass look like a poor watered lawn in an area of drought.
